Terms of service. Last updated 10 October 2026. Draft for legal review.

Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you (the agency or person signing up) and AI Logic Leap LLC, Miami, Florida, trading as CV OnBrand ("we", "us"). By creating an account, sending us a CV or paying for a plan you agree to them. If you are signing up for an agency, you confirm you can bind it.

1. What the service does

CV OnBrand re-sets a CV you send us into your agency's own branded template and returns it as a PDF and a Word file, together with a short list of anything we could not verify (the warnings list). The wording of the candidate's experience is carried across unchanged; personal contact details are removed. We do not rewrite, summarise, tailor or translate.

The output is a draft for you to check. You are responsible for reviewing it, including the warnings list, before you send it to a client. We are not responsible for what a candidate wrote, for a warning you did not act on, or for how the formatted CV is used.

2. Your template

We build your template from a branded CV you give us. The result is brand-consistent, not pixel-identical, and we check it by eye before your first CV goes out. Single-column templates with a header band, footer band and an optional cover page are supported on every plan. Two-column, sidebar and photo layouts, and templates we cannot measure from the sample, may need a managed setup, which we will quote separately or decline.

3. Plans, trials and allowances

4. Billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars, from the day you subscribe. Taxes are added where they apply. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Stripe receipt; the plan runs to the end of the paid month and is not renewed. We do not refund part months. If a payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, the account is paused until it is. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You may only send us CVs you are entitled to process, and you are responsible for having the right to do so (including under privacy law in your country). You will not use the service to process anything other than CVs and résumés, to probe or overload it, or to resell it without our agreement. We may suspend or close an account for abuse, non-payment or a breach of these terms, and will tell you why.

6. Candidate data

How we handle CVs is set out in the privacy policy: in short, a CV is processed to produce your files and deleted when they are sent; we keep no copy. For candidate data you are the controller and we are your processor, acting on your instructions, which these terms and the privacy policy record. A separate data processing agreement is available on request.

7. Availability and support

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it, and we may change or withdraw features with notice. Support is by email at hello@cvonbrand.com; Agency plan customers are answered first. No service level is promised on self-serve plans unless agreed in writing.

8. Intellectual property

Your template, logo and the CVs you send remain yours. The formatted CVs we return are yours to use. The service, its software and its documentation remain ours.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business, lost placements or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we will email account owners at least 14 days before a material change takes effect, and continued use after that date is acceptance. If we discontinue the service we will email account owners at least 30 days before it closes; no new top-ups are sold during that period, monthly allowances end with the final billing period, and any credits unused at closing lapse. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and disputes are brought in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law where you are gives you other rights.
